How to practically sleep only 8 hours?

Who do not like to sleep more hours that too during weekends? Everyone loves sleeping/ taking rest. But it should not be continued. It is not a good habit.

Why? Whats the big deal? How will it affect my health/future?

  1. It sucks lot of time. Have you ever felt that  you weekend runs faster, entirely because your sleep consume half of it? Life is interesing, you got to be productive. There are lof of mandatory tasks to do in life, as discussed in introduction post. You need time for that
  2. Sleeping in excess indicates lack of nutrition. It should be addressed. If addressed, you can get more energy to do other activities
Solutions:
  1. Get more oxygen. Brain needs more oxygen to function. Oxygen is everywhere. You just need to consume it. Take deep breath. A deep breath holds more oxygen than shallow one. Do it whenever possible. Eg. before getting out of bed, after going to bed, while walking under tree, while walking for food, while walking for water
  2. Get more vitamins. Only known source of vits is veggies and fruits. Not all fruits contains vits. Choose wisely like banana, apple, guava. Do not consume grapes, it has nothing. Better buy pressed juice that contain more minerals like green machine. Feeling hungry? Quench it by consuming a banana, wait for 5 min, Your ravenous hunger will be gone
  3. Coffee is a bad idea. I will tell you why. It releases cortisol. Cortisol is a stress harmone which consumes sugar and fat from your body to cope up with stress, that is good. But it also lowers thyroid. Thyroid is necessary for regular metabolic activities
  4. There are some foods specifically known to stimulate brain. I will read some neuroscience and update this section soon

How to practically lose fat?

2 ways

  1. Do not consume fat
    • Come on its not practical to go enitrely on a veggie diet
    • But it is practical to avoid substance that contains only fat .Eg. dips, mayo, deep fried foods which suck oil, ice cream, syrup, candies, chocolates, meat skin
    • Its completely alright to eat rice and bread, as it contains fiber and its not completely sugar/fat
    • Suppress appetite by consuming green tea, fruit juice, probiatic drink which kills bad bacteria that craves more sweet. If your body gets some energy, it will stop craving for food. Why not provide good energy to suppress its hunger
  2. Burn excessive fat
    • Is it practical to join yoga/gym on a daily basis? Atleast for me, its no. It sucks lot of time. Who wanna spend on additional travel time, after a tiring day
    • Its a good idea to use bicycle for grocery shopping, restaurant, or any outside visits
    • Walking, is a OK idea, but it do not burn much calories. Our goal is less time, more effect. But still little activity is better than no activity. Try to get down/park at next stop and walk till your destination. Come on its extremely practical unless you are running late. Go to shops by walking. Make yourself to walk explicitly
    • Go to your apartment gym, practice in elliptical for 30 min, which burns fat more effectively. On the way collect your mails. Isnt it practical? You no need to spend exclusive time for work out
    • Force yourself to spend more energy whenever you get a chance, like climbing stairs than taking elevator. Your body will thank you in old age. Come on you cannot reduce your weight suddenly once your blown. It should be a daily or regular process which need to be integrated with daily activities

Why?

Why one need to think practically?

Well our time is limited. Our energy is limited. We do not have enough time and energy to go behind something just to find out it will not suit you or you cannot get it, and then retry another from scratch

So practical thinking is all about finding a simple and suitable way, at an earlier stage to achieve whatever you need/aspire for. That way should not consume your entire time and stop other activities, yet it should achieve its purpose

Because, in our life, we should do certain tasks to have a smooth life. If you miss to do them, then it will result in a huge loss. Multitasking or juggling between various faces of life is extremely important. For example, you need to earn money , at the same time you need to create relationships/friendships, also you need to take care of your personal health, + you need to spend time with yourself, additionally you need to think about your future

Only by having your foot on earth and trying practical ways can help you achieve everything. Yes everything. No prioritization here, everything is important
